There is so much talent in this church, and so much has been written by musicians who either lack the technical expertise, the time or the money to be able to share their work with the greater church community. The goal of this website is to create a place where anybody can publish their music free of charge, and where ward choristers, and others performing in church can find great music free of charge.

Another purpose of this website is to create an environment where aspiring musicians can get feedback from others so they can improve. Spencer W. Kimball gave a landmark address about the church and the arts, where he stated: "Members of the Church should be peers or superiors to any others in natural ability, extended training, plus the Holy Spirit which should bring them light and truth. With hundreds of 'men of God' and their associates so blessed, we have the base for an increasingly efficient and worthy corps of talent."
